Shamanic Journey for Self - Soul Recovery / Soul Retrieval I

This two day class will introduce you to the world of Shamanic Journeying, a spiritual healing tool with ancient roots. Traditional shamans practiced this technique to act as intermediaries between the human and spirit realms. All people have access to spirit and many are discovering the shamanic journey as a tool for self growth, freedom, and healing.
People utilize the shamanic journey to receive answers to questions, gain clarity around relationships, or communicate with lost loved ones. In the journey you may meet a spiritual teacher, interact with yourself in past lives, or reconnect with lost parts of the self through the act of Soul Recovery / Soul Retrieval.

Traditional healers consider ‘Soul Loss’ to be the root cause of physical, emotional, and spiritual illness. It is said that trauma in this or other lives causes a part of your ‘soul’ or energy system to leave you, creating an energy drain that can manifest in any of the following ways:

Feeling ‘something is missing’	Addictive behaviors
Spaciness, lack of presence	Physical illness
Inability to experience feelings	Chronic fear or anxiety
Repetitive situations	Memory gaps
Unwarranted reactions	Relationship problems
Can’t connect	Chronic depression
Post traumatic stress	Inability to let go

Soul Recovery / Soul Retrieval is a way for us to recover these lost parts. This course is for laypeople and practitioners alike. It covers the basics of journeying and introduces the techniques used for Soul Recovery / Soul Retrieval for the self. For those drawn to perform this healing work for others, this course is a prerequisite for a second course, “Journey for Others, Soul Recovery / Soul Retrieval II.”

In this course, you will receive a shamanic power animal and learn to journey for yourself to the three realms to receive answers to questions and build your power. Below is the class outline:

Bring a blanket, pillow, eye covering for the journeys, and snacks. There will be many journeys over the weekend as this course is largely experiential, so please come well rested.

BIO

OmShi’ has been a professional healer since 1994, and received her first Reiki attunement in 1986. It was through giving Reiki to others she discovered her gift of shamanic ‘sight’. She was called by her Native American guides to study shamanic healing and has been teaching Shamanic Journey classes and Soul Recovery / Soul Retrieval throughout the United States since 2004. OmShi’ is also trained in acupuncture, herbal medicine, energy medicine, and advanced bodywork. She co-owns Heavenly Sedona with her partner in Sedona, Arizona.
